Production Operative

Location: Harlow Timber Systems, Walker Road, Forest Business Park, Bardon Hill, Coalville, Leicestershire , LE67 1TU

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4pm, Friday 7:30am to 3:45pm.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Production Operative to join our team at Harlow Timber Systems Bardon. The role of Production Operative within the company is to ensure that all production roof truss and joist profiles are complete and manufactured to the correct design sheets issued to the team, set out to the correct dimensions and configuration detailed on the engineer sheets, and completed on time as required by the delivery schedule for that project.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all profile trusses are complete correctly, controlled and monitored with paperwork.
• Maintain weekly delivery dates and requirements in coordination with the Production Manager and Supervisor.
• Participate in daily and weekly production meetings.
• Follow and adhere to Health & Safety requirements for the business.
• Conduct monitoring and maintenance of equipment alongside the Supervisor.
• Ensure each station's production team has work and products set out to manufacture.
• Work independently within a team to meet the production schedule.

Your Skills

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations.
