Production Operative

Gap Personnel are proud to be working alongside a new client who is a leading food manufacturer within their field, located on the outskirts of Chester in their search for Production operatives to join them on a temp to perm basis. Due to increases in business, our client is looking for multiple operatives. The main attribute our client is looking for is a good attitude to work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of hygiene and housekeeping.
• Manufacture quality and safe products.
• Produce mixes according to production plan and standard recipes.
• Weigh powders in accordance with recipes.
• Rotate (First In-First Out) raw materials ingredients and advise Production Lead of any over or under stock positions or ingredients going out of date according to the "Storage" procedure.
• Complete the production paperwork/due diligence records in a correct and readable manner to ensure total traceability.

Person Specification

• Due to location, own transport is REQUIRED.
• Previous experience within manufacturing/production.
• Ability to work cold conditions.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and multi-task.
• Ability to lift heavy objects as parts of the role can be physically demanding.
• Team player, adaptable and flexible.

Hours of Work

AM Shift : Mon-Fri 5am-2:45pm

PM Shift : Mon-Fri 12pm-9:45pm

Pay

£13.50p.h
