Job Title: Production Operative
Location: Newton Abbott
Pay Rate: £13.60 per hour
Hours: Sunday 19:00-06:00/Monday to Thursday 23:00-06:00

Responsibilities

• As a Production Operative, you will be at the heart of our operation, ensuring that linen and garments are processed efficiently and to the highest standard. Your key duties will include:
• Sorting: Handling incoming soiled linen and sorting items by type, colour, and required treatment.
• Quality Control: Checking all items for damages, stains, and foreign objects, ensuring only quality stock proceeds through the wash process.
• Processing: Feeding items into industrial washing and drying machinery.
• Finishing: Assisting with folding, stacking, and packing clean linen ready for dispatch.
• Safety: Adhering to all health and safety regulations, including the proper handling of linen in line with infection control procedures.

• No previous laundry experience is necessary-just the right attitude! We provide full training.
• Attention to Detail: You will need to spot damages and stains quickly and accurately.
• Reliability: We operate on tight deadlines. Punctuality and a strong work ethic are essential.
