About Us

We are the UK's leading supplier of rope-grown mussels and cultivated Pacific oysters, farmed in the pristine seas of the West Coast of Scotland and the Shetland Isles. Our shellfish are sold fresh or as part of our premium ready-meal range, available in major supermarkets and retail outlets.

As a farmer-owned co-operative, our members take pride in every stage of the process - from cultivation to customer - ensuring exceptional quality and sustainability.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced Production Operatives to join our operations at our state-of-the-art facility in Bellshill.

What You'll do

Perform production line tasks as directed by Supervisors and Key Workers.
Understand product specifications, processing methods, and throughput targets.
Maintain high standards of product quality, cleanliness, and accuracy.
Follow company policies on hygiene, dress code, and health & safety.
Ensure compliance with the Food Safety Act 1990 and COSHH regulations.
Participate in training programs to build relevant skills.
Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices - including "Clean as You Go" and good housekeeping.
Support a positive team environment with a professional and flexible attitude.

What We're Looking For Essential:

Willingness to learn and work as part of a fast-paced production team.
Commitment to food hygiene, quality, and health & safety standards.

Desirable:

Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG environments.
Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.
Access to personal transport (not essential - site is public transport accessible).

Working Hours

Monday to Friday: 06:00 - 14:30 pm
