A well-established company in the education supplies industry is looking for a Book Binder/ Print Finisher to join its team. As a Book Binder you will be operating and maintaining paper conversion machinery while ensuring quality, safety, and smooth workflow throughout the production process.

Book Binder responsibilities

• Operate and set up machinery used for paper conversion.
• Keep equipment running efficiently throughout the shift.
• Carry out routine maintenance tasks as outlined in the planned schedule.
• Maintain a clean and organised working area.
• Perform regular quality inspections to ensure standards are met.
• Follow instructions carefully to complete each task to the required level.
• Comply with all Health & Safety guidelines and company procedures at all times.

Skills & experience required

• Experience in a similar environment is beneficial but not essential.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team and communicate well with colleagues.
• Strong attendance record and reliable timekeeping.
• Good understanding of paper dimensions and strong accuracy levels.
• Practical thinker with solid problem solving skills and a good general education.
• Self motivated and confident working independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable with manual handling and physically demanding tasks.
• Must have dependable transport to and from work.
