Production Operative

The Role

We are looking for candidates with hands on experience in a similar environment as the work is mainly assembly of car engines. However, due to a variety of working environments on site, we are also seeking individuals who have woodyard skills and experience, as well as FLT licensed drivers. Full training will be provided, and a keen attitude, commitment to quality, health and safety, reliability and punctuality is essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment
• Follow all work processes to a very high standard
• Keep the worksite clean to avoid hazards
• Follow the company's health & safety and quality guidelines

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a production worker or similar role
• Good understanding of how production equipment works
• Previous experience using wood cutting tools (Desirable, not Essential)
• FLT licence (Desirable, not Essential)
• Knowledge of basic safety rules and precautionary measures (safety gear will be provided)
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work both days and late shifts when required
