Vacancy: Machine Operator - New Mills, Derbyshire

We are currently seeking a Machine Operator to join our valued manufacturing client based in New Mills, Derbyshire. This is a fantastic long term opportunity offering stable hours, competitive pay, and a rotating shift pattern.

Position:

Machine Operator

Shift Pattern (Alternating Weekly): Week 1 - £12.60 per hour

• Monday-Thursday: 05:30 - 13:30
• Friday: 05:30 - 11:30

Week 2 - £14.39 per hour

• Monday-Thursday: 13:30 - 21:30
• Friday: 11:30 - 17:30

Pay Details:

• Base rate: £12.60 per hour
• Afternoon shift allowance: + £1.79 per hour

Main Duties:

• Operating slabber equipment and related production machinery
• Meeting daily output targets
• Conducting routine quality inspections
• Following all health & safety procedures
• Maintaining a tidy, well organised workspace

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Prior machine operation experience is desirable (training can be provided)
• Comfortable working rotating shifts
• Dependable, punctual, and proactive
• Strong attention to detail and quality
