Production Operative: 3-Shift Factory Role (On-site)

A well-established manufacturing business is seeking a Production Operative to support the safe and efficient output of high-quality products.

This role plays an important part in maintaining production standards contributing to continuous improvement activities and supporting day-to-day factory operations across a rotating 3 shift pattern (mornings + afternoons + nights).

£32,900 (Inclusive of shift allowance)
Nottingham/Derby (On-site)

Shift Pattern & Pay

Rotating 3-shift pattern: 05:45 06:00
Total Salary: £32,900 (£25,550 basic + 28.83% shift premium)

Responsibilities

• Follow all site safety rules policies and legal requirements (including COSHH and Health & Safety at Work Act).
• Maintain compliance with BS EN ISO 9001 BS EN ISO 14001 and BS EN 9100 standards.
• Operate production equipment efficiently while reducing waste and cost.
• Support ongoing improvements to products processes and procedures.
• Maintain excellent levels of cleanliness orderliness and equipment care.
• Assist with general factory duties across the site & contribute to site security as required.
• Participate in all training provided by the company.
• Support Team Leaders and colleagues to ensure smooth shift operations.

Requirements

• Experience working within a production or manufacturing environment (ideal but not essential).
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Basic numeracy & computer literacy skills.
• Able to work effectively in a team and independently once trained.
