The client is a leading food manufacturer that, following years of commercial success, is now expanding its operations.

The job you will do
  • Lead and oversee daily production operations to ensure on time delivery and exceed customer expectations.
  • Strategically allocate resources and optimise asset utilisation to maximise efficiency and output.
  • Manage product quality, production targets, and logistics performance to maintain operational excellence.
  • Continuously monitor processes, identifying and implementing corrective actions to drive improvement.
  • Stay current with industry best practices and modern production management techniques.
  • Promote strong cross functional collaboration with procurement, distribution, and senior management teams.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a workforce of up to 60 employees.
  • Partner with Directors to execute cost reduction initiatives and implement continuous improvement strategies.
  • Proactively address employee concerns and foster a positive, high performance workplace culture.
About you
  • You must have proven production management experience within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience in staff leadership, performance management, and team development.
  • In depth knowledge of quality assurance standards and health & safety regulations within a manufacturing environment.
  • Exceptional organisational, leadership, and problem solving abilities.
  • Proactive, hands on leader with a collaborative, lead by example approach and a strong commitment to team success.
