The Hours:

Monday to Friday 7am - 4pm

40 Hours per week

A flexible approach to working hours and occasional, out of hours, call outs

Implementing business change where required to enhance production and team productivity

You will be:

Overseeing dailyproduction to meet quality and efficiency targets
Working to KPI's and business demands

Overseeing a team of 35 Production Operatives being supported by a Shift Manager

Recruitment, Training and development of staff leading by example

Motivating the team and guiding with positive outcomes

Addressing any issues to ensure effective operation

Stock management, ordering of stock and raising purchase orders
Monitoring and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations
Analyse production data and generate reports for senior management
Address and resolve operational challenges to minimise downtime

Skills and Attributes required:

Proven experience in production management essential

Exceptional leadership and team management skills, to develop and improve the team

Experience in recruitment, training and disciplinary procedures
Proficiency in analysing production data and stock forecasts

Knowledge of health and safety standards in a production environment

Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving production environment
A high degree of self-motivation with the ability to self-manage and offer flexibility to changing business needs

The ability to understand, work hard to achieve business targets and deadlines

Excellent computer skills, organisational skills including efficient planning of production forecasts

Ability to communicate effectively across all departments and levels of the business
