Now part of the Genuit Groups' Climate Management Solutions (CMS) business unit, ADEY has ambitious growth plans. Working Hours: AM Shift: 5:30 - 13:45 Monday to Thursday 5:30 - 12:30 FridayPM Shift: 14:00 - 23:00 Monday to Thursday13:00 - 17:00 Friday The Role As Line Leader, you are responsible for both material resources and employees.At the core of the role, Line Leaders plan, coordinate and control the production process on a daily/hourly basis so that products are provided safely, while meeting or exceeding the hourly production target, to the required quality standard.Works in close partnership with Shift Supervisors and Line Pickers to ensure timely production of products.A large part of the role is dealing with people and materials, as well as the production (control and supervision) stage. Responsibilities: Manage the Production Line to priority on Production plan with the primary aim of preventing line stoppages or minimising downtime. Ensure Pickers are directed to deliver materials to the line on time to maximise productivity Communicate with colleagues on all workstations to avoid downtime Understand how all equipment and systems work; promptly report defective equipment and systems to avoid downtime. Ensure prompt shift start, and prompt shift end. Manage break times Immediately address behavioural issues of colleagues within your team where necessary Partner with Shift Supervisors where necessary to address behavioural issues with employees in a appropriate manner and location. Record production numbers on an hourly basis for upward reporting Supervise and motivate team members through regular, in-the-moment feedback; recognition and reward; consistent adherence to objectives and policy Collate and analyse data, putting together production reports for both Production Manager and regular feedback to team members. At the end of an order Line Leader with collection of defective product and ensure it is presented to QA, in order that inventory and quality records are maintained accurately Ensure Production Line is cleaned down thoroughly at the end of the shift and at the end of each order if moving to another Line Other responsibilities within people management, quality and health & safety.
