Production Engineer

My client, an Engineering company based in Pershore is looking to recruit a Production Engineer on a permanent basis.

The main tasks associated with this role include working on BOM's and project associated tasks where there will be a requirements for some hands-on involvement in production.

The main responsibilities of the role include

- identify manufacturing needs for new products and customer orders
- ensure all product and system requirements are set-up accordingly
- generate production documentation including Work Orders, Kitting lists, and Route Cards
- Improve manufacturing efficiency
- Carry out FMEA'S
- Design fixtures and tooling for assembly tasks
- Perform Root Cause Analysis
- Interpret Engineering Drawings

As a suitable candidate you will offer the following

- Ideally have a Mechanical Engineering Degree or time served experience
- Experience of working within the guidelines of BS EN ISO 9001, 3834, EN 15085, predominantly welding and fabrication
- Experience of working with Defense, Aerospace or Rail Industries and application of Def-Stan/Mil-Std and RIS
- Knowledge of lean and six sigma methodologies

The salary on offer is up to £32,000

£30,000.00 - £32,000.00 per year
