Production Engineer

As a Production Engineer, your mission is to support uninterrupted production flow. You will be responsible for ensuring the assembly process runs efficiently and meets takt times, while also maintaining a clean, ergonomic, and organized workspace (5S principles).

Key responsibilities:

• Providing hands-on support to resolve short- and long-term assembly or production challenges
• Evaluating the impact of new product designs on existing processes and implementing necessary changes
• Managing tooling, machinery, and jigs - including the creation and oversight of work instructions
• Monitoring progress against the production schedule (Gantt chart) and ensuring targets are met
• Initiating and managing improvements to support production quality and output, including proposing new equipment if necessary
• Collaborating with production planning, engineering, and work preparation to identify the need for order-specific instructions and ensuring effective implementation
• Analyzing bottlenecks and inefficiencies, determining root causes, and implementing improvements
• Working in close coordination with external production partners to align processes and methods

Your Profile:

• A bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering
• A solid background in a production or manufacturing environment
• A practical, improvement-driven mindset with strong analytical and communication skills
• The ability to act as a bridge between production and technical teams
• Proficiency in Dutch (required)
• Lean Six Sigma experience (Yellow or Green Belt preferred)
