Production Engineer - Electronics/Mechanical/Embedded

Leicester | Permanent

I'm currently recruiting for a Production Engineer to join an established engineering company developing and manufacturing high-value, low-volume electromechanical systems.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being the link between R&D, Production, Quality and Operations, helping bring products from design into manufacture whilst solving the technical challenges that come with it.

The Role:

• Act as the bridge between Engineering and Manufacturing
• Support new product introduction and engineering changes
• Create and maintain work instructions, BOMs and engineering documentation
• Troubleshoot production issues and lead root cause investigations
• Support the production of complex electromechanical products
• Work closely with Design, Quality and Production teams to ensure products move smoothly into manufacture

What They're Looking For:

• Production Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, NPI Engineer, Engineering Technician or Production Team Lead background
• Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
• Experience working with engineering drawings, BOMs and technical documentation
• Understanding of electronics, Embedded systems or mechanical engineering
• Ability to communicate across both engineering and manufacturing teams

This role would suit someone who enjoys being hands-on, solving problems and making sure products are successfully transferred from development into production.
