Product Security Developer - Compliance Engineering (Brno Office or Waterford Office)

RedHat Product Security is looking for a Product Security Developer to join our global Compliance Engineering team.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain security automation solutions, moving projects rapidly from ideation through production validation.
- Build automated evidence gathering pipelines, ensuring RedHat services meet rigorous standards without manual intervention.
- Apply a "builder" mindset to create technical solutions that are user centric, ensuring security tools are intuitive and easily integrated by product teams.
- Take ownership of software at the component level, resolving security issues and contributing directly to upstream projects using high velocity development practices.
- Refine shared methodologies through GitOps and test driven development, utilizing AI Native tools to accelerate code reviews and bug detection.
- Share expertise through clear technical documentation, presentations, or blogs that focus on practical implementation and automation wins.
- Execution Oriented: Proven experience building or using tooling with a focus on clearing backlogs and shipping functional features.
- Development Experience: Strong proficiency in a programming language; comfortable writing, testing, and debugging.
- Infrastructure & Containers: Hands on experience with Linux and modern container technologies (Podman, Kubernetes, or OpenShift).
- CI/CD: Solid experience using and optimizing CI/CD pipelines to ensure automated, reliable software delivery.
- Independence: Ability to work autonomously within a distributed, multicultural team and manage a consistent cadence of contributions.
- AI Proficiency: Familiarity with using AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude, OpenCode, Cursor) to optimize the development process.
- Open Source Contributor: Desire to contribute code and fixes directly to upstream open source projects.
- Pragmatic Methodology: Experience with GitOps and TDD, with an interest in evolving these workflows using new automation technologies.
- Technical Clarity: Ability to explain complex technical implementations simply and collaborate effectively through peer code reviews.
