We are currently looking for a Product Manager (f/m/d) to join our team in Cologne (GER) or Aubagne (FR)


Your Responsibilities


Strategic Marketing & Market Analysis

  • Contribute to the definition of product and/or service marketing strategies.
  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and industry developments (including professional associations, customer needs, regulatory changes, new technologies, and local funding opportunities).
  • Support the development of mid- to long-term strategies for products/services in defined target markets.
  • Prioritize opportunities for new product and/or service development in line with company strategy from an economic, organizational, and commercial perspective.
  • Participate in the creation of roadmaps for the development and launch of products and/or services.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies, including sales channels and target customer groups.

Product & Service Lifecycle Management

  • Manage the lifecycle of products and/or services.
  • Develop and implement marketing activities.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams involved in product or service-related processes.
  • Contribute to the definition of pricing strategies.
  • Maintain and update sales and communication materials in collaboration with Sales and Communications teams.

Market Launch, Sales & Performance Monitoring

  • Create sales and communication materials together with the responsible teams.
  • Support internal team training (e.g., sales arguments) and ensure implementation in the respective area of responsibility.
  • Analyze sales data, margins, orders, and market KPIs to assess goal achievement.
  • Contribute to the content creation and approval of product/service communications in collaboration with the Communications department (digital, web, press, industry events).

Team Leadership & Organizational Responsibility

  • Define goals, implement appropriate measures and KPIs, and monitor goal achievement.
  • Allocate tasks and projects based on competencies, monitor progress, and provide support if needed.
  • Share responsibility for recruiting, developing, informing, and evaluating team members.
  • Communicate regularly with teams, interfaces, and partners to ensure consistent information flow across the organization.
  • Act solution-oriented in conflict situations and foster compromise.
  • Actively promote the use of corporate tools and ensure compliance with related processes.
  • Ensure all actions are aligned with the company strategy and corporate values (ethics, HSE, governance, social responsibility, continuous improvement, HR).


Your Profile


Expertise & Experience

  • Solid experience in a comparable role.
  • In-depth knowledge of product/service management, as well as marketing and sales techniques.
  • Strong understanding of communication, statistics, and reporting tools.

Languages

  • English: fluent
  • German: good to very good
  • French: good to very good
