Job Description
About the role

We're looking for a hands-on Product Manager to join us on an 8-month maternity leave cover. You'll step into an established lending product area and take clear end-to-end ownership, from discovery through to delivery- working closely with our Engineering and Commercial teams

This role is ideal for someone who can quickly build context, make sound decisions, and keep momentum high in a fast-moving environment.

What you'll be doing
  • Own the full product lifecycle: discovery, delivery, launch, and iteration.
  • Lead a dedicated engineering squad and drive both strategy and day-to-day execution.
  • Shape and maintain the product backlog, making smart prioritisation trade-offs.
  • Translate complex problems into clear requirements and shipped outcomes.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Design, and Commercial teams.
  • Ground decisions in customer needs, data, and business impact.
What we're looking for

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager delivering B2B software products end-to-end.
  • Background in a startup or scale-up environment where autonomy, pace, and ownership matter.
  • Comfortable working with agile delivery teams (Scrum, Kanban, or similar).
  • Experience owning a product area independently and driving it through execution.

Domain knowledge (nice to have, not all required)

  • Fintech experience (particularly in lending or payments).
  • Exposure to accounting concepts or financial data.
  • Experience working with data-heavy or platform products.
Ways of working
  • A self-starter who takes accountability and gets things done.
  • Strong analytical and commercial judgement.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams.
  • Comfortable challenging assumptions and continuously improving how things work.
  • Clear, structured communicator with strong attention to detail.
