Job Description

Decide what we build next and why. You'll work closely with platform teams and our engineers to turn hard operational problems into a product people rely on.

Tantilium Cloud Runner covers a lot of ground: provisioning, deployments, observability, cost, security and AI-driven operations. The hard part isn't coming up with ideas. It's choosing the few that matter most, and making them work well together.

You'll own the product direction for a major area of the platform. That means talking to customers every week, understanding the problem better than anyone, writing clear briefs, and working with engineering and design to ship something that actually solves it. Then measuring whether it did.

Responsibilities
  • Talk to customers and prospects regularly, and turn what you hear into a clear picture of the problems worth solving
  • Own the roadmap for your area and explain the reasoning behind it to engineers, leadership and customers
  • Write concise product briefs that set out the problem, who it's for, what success looks like, and what's out of scope
  • Work day to day with engineering and design to make trade-offs as the work takes shape
  • Define the metrics for your area, track them after launch, and act on what they tell you
  • Plan launches with marketing and sales so new features reach the people who need them
Requirements
  • Several years of product management experience, ideally on B2B software with technical users
  • A good grasp of how cloud infrastructure and software delivery work. You don't need to be an engineer, but you should be comfortable in technical conversations
  • Experience running customer discovery and turning messy research into clear decisions
  • Confidence with data: you can set up a metric, read it honestly and change course if needed
  • Strong writing. Most of our decisions start as a document
  • A history of shipping products and features that customers kept using
Nice to have
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD or observability tools
  • Experience on developer tools, infrastructure or platform products
  • Experience shipping AI features and thinking through how users come to trust them
