Freight forwarding is a $200B+ industry that is essential to the global economy, managing the movement of goods worldwide. Major companies like DHL, FedEx, and UPS serve as 'travel agents' for goods, coordinating complex supply chain operations.

Despite its importance, the industry remains largely reliant on manual processes and outdated systems, making it vulnerable to disruptions caused by simple errors like missed emails, which can lead to delays and financial losses.

At Raft, we're developing an AI platform to automate key freight operations, including invoice auditing, customs filings, and system integrations. Our goal is to improve efficiency, accuracy, and service speed, enabling businesses to focus more on growth and customer satisfaction.

Role Overview:

As a Product Manager, you will lead an independent product line, guiding a dedicated team to create customer-centric solutions aligned with our business goals. We're seeking a natural product leader, passionate about solving complex problems with AI, who begins with a clear vision and customer impact, then works backwards to execute effectively.

What You Will Do:

• Product Strategy and Vision: Define product roadmap, conduct market research, analyze trends, gather customer feedback, and identify new opportunities.
• Product Execution: Collaborate with engineering, ML, design, and QA teams to deliver high-quality user experiences, manage development lifecycle, and prioritize requirements.
• Stakeholder Management: Work with sales, marketing, and support teams to incorporate feedback, develop sales materials, and conduct product demos and training.
• Product Growth: Establish metrics for success, monitor product performance, iterate based on feedback, and stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies.

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience in product management, preferably in software and applying AI in products.
• Strong attention to detail and a bias for action.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Leadership ability to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Passion and resilience to succeed in a competitive environment.
