Product Development Apprenticeship

Location: Manchester

We are looking for an apprentice to join our Product Development department. This apprenticeship role provides hands-on experience supporting both the Product Marketing & Education team and the Regulatory & Compliance team.

This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both product marketing and technical areas within the beauty industry. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll assist with administrative tasks, presentation formatting, product coordination, and documentation management, while learning how new products are prepared for launch and marketed effectively.

This role is ideal for someone eager to develop a well-rounded skill set and start their career in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Product Marketing and Education support:

  • General admin support across Product Marketing and Education
  • Format and tidy presentations for internal/external use
  • Organize and maintain shared files and folders
  • Submit product requests for shoots, trainings, and events
  • Maintain and restock training kits
  • Create simple signage (ideally with some basic design skills)

Regulatory and Technical Support:

  • Maintain and update trackers for raw material documentation (e.g. Safety Data Sheets, Technical Data Sheets, Vegan Society Documents)
  • Tracking expiry dates and renewal timelines for Cruelty Free International Declarations
  • Liaising with suppliers to request updated documentation or certificates
  • Assisting with sending products for testing to 3rd party laboratories
  • Support with checking all the available files for product launch
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Confident using Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel) and comfortable learning new tools; basic design skills are a plus
  • Clear communicator with a proactive, detail-oriented approach and a collaborative mindset
  • Familiar with file systems, ordering processes
  • Prior admin experience in beauty or fashion a plus but not required
  • Bonus: Basic design skills (Canva, Adobe)
