This is a *Amsterdam* based role with an excellent immediate start within a Global Technology Client that is working on *helping to drive procurement excellence across the client's global operations.*

Our client is seeking a highly capable Procurement Specialist with strong experience in Technology sourcing, SaaS procurement, and contract negotiations. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of independently managing end-to-end sourcing activities, partnering effectively with stakeholders, and delivering value within fast-paced, global environments.

A critical requirement for this role is deep expertise in SaaS agreements, including commercial models, licensing structures, security and data privacy requirements, SLAs, renewal and termination frameworks, and negotiation strategies. You should be confident leading supplier discussions, challenging terms, and ensuring alignment with internal legal, security, and technical teams.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a mature procurement function, influence category strategy, and help drive procurement excellence across the client's global operations.

What We're Looking For

• Strong knowledge of contract law and the ability to interpret, negotiate, and optimize complex SaaS and technology agreements.

• Hands-on experience negotiating SaaS contracts (eg, subscription-based, seat-based, usage-based, enterprise agreements).

• 3-5 years of sourcing experience within the Technology category - software, cloud services, IT professional services, or related domains.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, comfortable working with legal, security, engineering, and commercial teams.

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate supplier proposals, model cost scenarios, understand TCO, and support data-driven decision-making.

• Experience managing sourcing projects up to 1M, from requirements gathering and RFP creation to negotiation and contract execution.

What Will Make a Candidate Stand Out

• Demonstrated success reducing or optimizing SaaS spend through negotiation and renewal strategies

• Familiarity with GDPR, DPAs, and security addenda related to software procurement

• Experience working within dynamic, global organizations with multiple brands or business units

• A pragmatic, solution-oriented approach to procurement challenges
