Procurement Manager

An automotive component manufacturer with sites worldwide requires a Procurement Manager to lead a team of Buyers whilst also managing their own portfolio of indirect procurement. The ideal candidate will be MCIPS qualified and highly experienced in indirect procurement.

Commutable from: Birmingham, Redditch, Shirley, Solihull, Coventry, Leamington Spa, Stratford Upon Avon

Package: £68,000 - £73,000 p.a. + Car Allowance + 10% Bonus + Medical + Enhanced Pension

Suitable for: Commodity Manager, Purchasing Manager, Indirect Procurement Manager, Indirect Purchasing Manager, Procurement Manager Indirect

Reporting into the Director you will have the following duties:

• Developing sourcing strategies for indirect categories.
• Build and maintain strong working relations with key suppliers.
• Drive cost reduction projects without compromising on the quality and service levels.
• Lead and inspire a team of purchasing professionals fostering a culture of collaboration accountability and continuous improvement.

Educated to degree level of MCIPS qualified you will have the following experience:

• Previous experience in automotive or manufacturing indirect spend is essential.
• Experience in people management and leadership.
• Ability to lead negotiations and support teams.
