The RoleThis is a Procurement Coordinator role, focused on ensuring consistent support for the Buyer and Supply Chain Specialist. The Procurement Support role will provide support from customer enquiry right through to cash collection to ensure that all aspects of the value chain can be supported when required. For instance, support with Quote Management, Item Creation, Supplier Database Maintenance and Supplier Re-qualification can be performed in an efficient and effective way.
Key Outcomes- Maintenance of the Sourcing Log to ensure the latest information is captured
- Assisting with researching products to ensure best accuracy of quotations
- Support with the Procurement Inbox to ensure queries are managed efficiently and effectively
- Support
- Collaborating with other Procurement team members to ensure all relevant paperwork and documentation is in place to comply with MHRA guidelines
- Supporting Item Creation on ASC and managing master data
- Support on setting up new supplier qualification including annual validation, following through with QA and Finance
- Support on re-qualification of existing suppliers including annual validation, following through with QA and Finance
- Maintenance of the Supplier database to ensure all information is up to date
- Work closely with all other members of the procurement team to effectively support the day to day operations of Durbin stock management and procurement processes
- Support providing updates on outstanding orders (e.g. ETA's of stock arrival and any delays)
- Support with initiating the goods collection process
- Prolific IT skills (MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint etc).
- Comfortable working within a team environment

- Ability to work on own initiative
- Works well within a team, flexible and willing to share the workload both ways
- Demonstrates ambition and initiative in their work
- Open to change in a fast-moving industry and to new learning

- Excellent communications skills including verbal, written and presentational. Excellent attention to detail is essential
