Procurement and Planning Manager (CIPS level 4, £40k, Building Materials, London)

We have an excellent opportunity for a Procurement & Planning Manager role for a building materials company that is London based. The firm is a multi-award-winning supplier of environmentally friendly building materials. This is a hands on position with complete responsibility for the company's day to day procurement and stock planning. The applicant must be able to commute or plan to relocate to the employment location before beginning work.

• CIPS level 4 is being studied or finished.
• Familiarity with Chinese vendors (essential).
• Working experience with Indian vendors (preferred).
• Excellent negotiating abilities and a track record in the procurement and planning industries.
• Demonstrated abilities of cost cutting, such as expense reductions, improved product quality, and shorter lead times.
• Superior Excel abilities and ERP system expertise are required.
• Well organized, with a keen eye for detail.
• Multitasking ability.
• Willingness to travel if necessary.
• 2 years of experience in planning and purchase.
