Process Excellence Lead

Partner with Programme and Project Managers to translate strategic process designs into actionable delivery plans. Support the development of robust business cases by quantifying efficiency gains and financial benefits related to process changes. Oversee validation of delivered solutions against process targets, supporting benefits realisation and continuous improvement.- Stakeholder Collaboration : Engage and influence senior leaders and key stakeholders to secure commitment and embed process excellence under the direction of the UK Change & Transformation leadership. This will include: Build and maintain strong partnerships with executive sponsors, business leaders, and operational teams to champion process innovation. Facilitate and/or participate in committees focused on process transformation and operational excellence. Communicate complex process concepts clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences. Define and embed KPIs and metrics that provide insight into process effectiveness, compliance, and customer experience. Lead development of dynamic dashboards and reporting mechanisms for executive review and decision-making. Promote a culture of continuous improvement by mentoring & educating teams on fundamentals of continuous improvements. 5+ Years of hand's on experience in driving process excellence Strong understanding of operational processes within commercial insurance (e.g., policy administration, claims handling, underwriting workflows). Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher (or equivalent process improvement accreditation) - desirable. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., BCS in Business Analysis, BPM certification, IIBA) - advantageous. Ability to operate in ambiguous environments, particularly when standardizing legacy or manual processes. Curiosity to learn and passion for driving improvement Demonstrable experience in process design, optimisation, or reengineering within insurance, financial services, or another regulated industry. Skilled in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Signavio etc) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI). Exceptional stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills, with the ability to translate technical findings into actionable insights.
