Location: Cheltenham, UK

Role Overview

To bea Leader of the Process Engineering team, delivering support to productionenvironments, setting direction for the Process engineers and progressing projects.

Objectives and Responsibilities
  • To lead the process engineering team, setting direction and motivating team members
  • Manage performance and workload based on priorities
  • Undertake general projects for improvement activities to enhance our products and manufacturing processes and costs
  • Employ Lean and Agile techniques to all activities, driving improvement and efficiency in our processes
  • Setting standards for quality
  • Working with the stakeholders to deliver new technology and support any capital Investment projects
  • Implement "Future Factory" solutions that guarantee manufacturing capability and capacity to meet demand.
  • Mentor and develop team members
  • Communicate with all stakeholders, suppliers and contractors handling escalations
Experience and Skills
  • Technical Engineering background.
  • A understanding of project management
  • Delivered multiple change projects, successfully and safely
  • Experience in Lean and Agile manufacturing techniques.
  • HNC or BTEC Level 4 HNC in manufacturing or engineering disciplines.
  • A motivated and proactive approach.
  • Accuracy & high attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of problem solving and analytical techniques.
  • Working to and achieving targets, using project management tools.
  • Good time management skills
  • Competent with dealing with external suppliers and contractors.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Ability to influence & listen to stakeholders, at all levels of the business.
  • Ability to lead a cross functional project teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once either in a liner (waterfall) or iterative approach.
  • Experience in creating and managing, project scopes, schedules, budgets, risk management, contract and negotiations.
  • Understanding of project governance including project related legislation, regulations or company policies.
