Matrix Recruitment is recruiting a Process Engineer for our manufacturing client based in Carlow.

Your New Role

Key Responsibilities:

• Process Improvement - Improve manufacturing efficiency, quality and productivity.
• Continuous Improvement - Lead Lean projects focused on waste reduction and process optimisation.
• Automation - Identify and implement automation opportunities across production.
• Problem Solving - Investigate issues and implement effective corrective actions.
• Team Collaboration - Work closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality and EHS teams to drive improvements.

What You Need

• Degree in Engineering.
• 3+ years' experience in manufacturing or process engineering.
• Background in FMCG, food, packaging, high volume or industrial manufacturing.
• Strong Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement and problem solving experience.
• Knowledge of process mapping, SOPs and root cause analysis.
• Proven track record delivering operational improvements.

Advantageous: Experience with automation, PLCs or robotics, Lean Six Sigma/HACCP certification, or exposure to heavy manufacturing environments.
