Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Process Engineer located in Cork, Ireland. Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, the Process Engineer role involves setting up new manufacturing processes as well as supporting new product introduction and resolving product and process issues on a daily basis.

Responsibilities
  • Understand the manufacturing process, technologies, techniques and processes.
  • Define, implement and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability.
  • Identify root causes of failures in the manufacturing process independently or together with other engineering stakeholders.
  • Participate at a high level in daily production activities and solve daily issues.
  • Create and maintain necessary process documentation, including visual aids, manufacturing procedures and process specifications.
  • Participate in activities pertaining to cycle time and process improvements.
  • Evaluate and select various engineered materials.
  • Provide continuous development of manufacturing techniques to improve in house capabilities and yields.
  • Interface with production for all activities associated with new process implementation and product transfer.
  • Assist in development of training and provide training to production personnel during new technology transfer.
  • Lead cost improvement and reduction programs.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering field.
  • Minimum 2 years engineering experience.
  • Highly organized and driven to achieve results both personally and as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Clear thinker, perceptive, with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with office software: Phone, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Availability to work all shift patterns.
  • Eligible to work in Ireland (EU).
