Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Process Engineer located in Cork, Ireland. Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, the Process Engineer role involves setting up new Manufacturing processes as well as supporting New Product introduction and resolving product and process issues on a daily basis. What a typical day looks like: Understand the manufacturing process, technologies, techniques and processes Define, Implement and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability. Have the capability to independently or together with other engineering stakeholders identify root causes of failures in the manufacturing process High level participation in daily production activities and effective problem solving on daily issues Create and maintain necessary Process documentation, including Visual Aids, Manufacturing procedures and process specifications. Participate in activities pertaining to cycle time and process improvements. Evaluate and select various engineered materials. Provide continuous development of manufacturing techniques that will improve in-house capabilities and yields. Interface with production of all activities associated with new process implementation and product transfer. Assist in the development of training and provide training to production personnel during new technology transfer. Lead cost improvement/reduction programs. The experience we're looking to add to our team: Bachelor's Degree in engineering field Minimum 2 years engineering experience Highly organized, driven by achieving results both on a personal and team basis. Excellent written and verbal communication ability in English Candidate should be a clear thinker, perceptive, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Office Skills; Phone Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc. Availability to work all shift patterns.
