Process Engineer

Our client is looking for a process engineer who will conduct technical studies and develop efficient process solutions for upstream engineering phases. The role ensures safety, reliability, and optimization by applying the best standards and rigorous methods of process engineering. Missions:- Develop tailored solutions during the Assess, Select, and Basic Engineering phases to improve safety, reliability, and margins, while adhering to PDS standards when required.- Provide process engineering support for requests related to unit shutdowns, maintenance activities, projects, and technical support requests.- Ensure compliance with schedules, quality requirements, and safety standards.- Identify opportunities for CAPEX and OPEX reduction in engineering deliverables and approve them.- Participate in safety reviews, including HAZOP, and LOPA studies.- Contribute to SIL for existing and new SIF (Safety Instrumented Functions).- Ensure compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.- Report adverse events and update the X system when necessary. Requirements:- Understanding of process engineering principles and experience in the oil & gas, chemistry, or other process industries (all levels of seniority accepted).- Strong commitment to safety, risk management, and regulatory compliance.- Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders (maintenance, projects).- Proficiency in technical reviews and documentation.- Familiarity with structured safety methodologies (HAZOP, LOPA, SIL).- Rigor, attention to detail, and quality.- Autonomy, proactivity, and ability to identify opportunities, along with a mindset aligned with company values and a continuous culture.
