Responsibilities

As the Process Development and Design Engineer you will be tasked with the following:

  • Develop and optimise manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Design new production systems and tools to improve operational workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to address production issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including process flow diagrams and work instructions.
  • Monitor and analyse process performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and health and safety regulations.
  • Support the introduction of new products by developing and validating associated processes.
Qualifications

A successful Process Development and Design Engineer should have:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in process development within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing standards and best practices.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with teams and stakeholders.
