ResponsibilitiesAs the Process Development and Design Engineer you will be tasked with the following:
- Develop and optimise manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Design new production systems and tools to improve operational workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements.
- Conduct root cause analysis to address production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare technical documentation, including process flow diagrams and work instructions.
- Monitor and analyse process performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and health and safety regulations.
- Support the introduction of new products by developing and validating associated processes.
A successful Process Development and Design Engineer should have:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in process development within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools.
- Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset.
- Knowledge of manufacturing standards and best practices.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with teams and stakeholders.
- Competitive salary in the range of £50,000 - £60,000
