Probation Officer - HMYOI Onley
Location: HMYOI Onley
Hours: 37 hours per week
Pay rate: £30.36 ltd p/h

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person support of the Offender Management in Custody (OMiC) Model within the prison setting.
• Manage and support offenders throughout their time at HMYOI Onley.
• Assess offenders' risks and needs and develop tailored rehabilitation plans.
• Monitor compliance with probation conditions and court orders.
• Collaborate with prison staff, social services, and other agencies.
• Document case progress and prepare reports as required.

Essential Requirements

• Qualified Probation Officer (PO) with relevant certification
• Proven experience in offender management or probation work
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to adapt to the needs of the prison environment
