Hunters Legal is working with a Top Ranked Team recognised for its expertise across the full range of private wealth disputes. The team advises on complex matters including will disputes, Inheritance Act claims, onshore and offshore trust disputes, equitable claims and Court of Protection disputes.

The team represents a diverse client base, including individuals, professional executors, trust corporations, charities and financial institutions.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and ambitious Private Wealth Disputes Associate to join the team and play an important role in its continued growth.

The successful candidate will handle a broad range of contested will, trust and estate matters, while also supporting the supervision and development of junior lawyers within the team.

Working closely with the Head of Department, the Associate will contribute to the team's wider growth strategy and have the opportunity to play an active role in developing the practice.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing a varied caseload of private wealth disputes, including contentious wills, trusts and estates.
• Advising clients on complex and sensitive private wealth matters.
• Supporting the supervision, development and mentoring of junior lawyers.
• Contributing to the continued growth and development of the team.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Contributing to business development and wider practice development initiatives.
• Working collaboratively within a collegiate and supportive team environment.
• Managing matters independently while maintaining strong organisational and time-management skills.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Private Wealth Disputes lawyer with a strong track record in contentious wills, trusts and estates.

Candidates should demonstrate:

• Strong technical experience across private wealth disputes.
• Excellent organisational and case management skills.
• The ability to work independently and manage a demanding caseload.
• Experience supervising or supporting junior lawyers.
• A strong understanding of business development and client relationship management.
• A collaborative and collegiate approach to working within a team.
• Ambition to contribute to the continued growth of a successful and expanding practice.
• ACTAPS qualification is required.
• STEP Diploma is highly desirable.
