Private Markets Product Management Associate

Location: London, U.K.

Position: NB Private Markets Product Management Associate

Summary:

Neuberger Berman is an employee-owned global investment management firm with $427 billion in assets under management. The private markets group, NB Private Markets, manages over $110 billion of client commitments and is a leading investor in private markets.

Within our Private Investment Portfolios & Co-Investment business, we manage diversified investment vehicles, including funds and direct investments, across primary and secondary markets. Each fund is managed by Principal or Managing Director professionals responsible for daily operations.

The Role:

The Product Management team supports the Program Managers with fund management, investment execution, monitoring, cash management, and communication activities, focusing on wealth and institutional funds in Europe or with European clients.

You will be responsible for:

  • Supporting fund management, operations, organization, and monitoring
  • Coordinating among internal teams such as Investment, Legal, Finance, Reporting, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Client Services

Investment Tracking includes portfolio construction, monitoring, forecasting, and reporting. Capital Management involves tracking inflows, outflows, realizations, and credit facilities.

Requirements:

  • Excellent academic credentials in economics, business, finance, or related fields
  • 1-3 years of experience in finance, investment banking, private equity, legal, or related areas
  • Strong communication skills; fluency in additional European languages is a plus
  • Experience in investment execution and legal processes is favorable
  • Exposure to product development or launch coordination
  • Understanding of European investment regulation
