Private Healthcare Service Development Lead

We are seeking an experienced and forwardthinkingprofessional to design, develop, and launch a new Private Service within ourhealthcare organisation. This role is ideal for someone who understands boththe strategic and operational requirements of private healthcare delivery andcan lead the creation of a highquality, patientcentred service from conceptto implementation.

Whaddon Healthcare is aninnovative, well established CQC rated Outstanding GP Practice which alsoprovides a range of specialist Community Services including Cardiology,Respiratory, Gynaecology and BLMK Long Covid Service.
We work over two purpose-builtsites in Bletchley with a list size of 22,000 and growing.
You will be working with alarge and friendly team.
Job responsibilitiesKey Responsibilities
- Developa comprehensive vision and operational model for the new Private Service.
- Conductmarket analysis to identify patient needs, service gaps, and competitivepositioning.
- Defineservice scope, pricing structures, patient pathways, and quality standards.
- Ensurealignment with regulatory requirements, clinical governance frameworks, andorganisational objectives.
- Operational Development Createand document endtoend processes, workflows, and policies for the service. Workwith clinical and administrative teams to establish efficient booking, triage,and care delivery systems. Identifyrequired resources, including staffing, equipment, and digital tools. Developperformance metrics and reporting mechanisms to monitor service quality andfinancial performance.
- Implementation& Launch Leadthe phased rollout of the Private Service, ensuring readiness across alloperational areas. Coordinatetraining and onboarding for staff involved in delivering the service. Collaboratewith internal teams on branding, communications, and patient informationmaterials. Overseeearly service delivery, troubleshoot issues, and refine processes based onfeedback.
- StakeholderEngagement Workclosely with senior leadership, clinicians, and administrative teams to ensurecohesive development. Buildrelationships with external partners, suppliers, and regulatory bodies asneeded. Provideregular updates, reports, and recommendations to the leadership team.

- Ability to translate strategic goals into practical, operational processes.
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Analytical mindset with experience using data to inform decisions.
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of a new service from inception to launch.
- Knowledge of clinical databases including Systm1
- Hold a UK Driving License
- Strategic thinker with a hands on, solutions focused approach.
- Highly organised, proactive, and adaptable.
- Committed to delivering exceptional patient experience.
- Collaborative and confident working across multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven experience in developing or managing private healthcare services or similar services based healthcare operations.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, patient pathways, and clinical governance.
