Salary
  • Up to £13.00 per hour

  • Candidates must be able to work at least 20 hours, 5 days per week (4, 5 or 6 hour shifts available)
  • Candidates should have/ be willing to complete, a paediatric first aid certificate, and Level 2 Food hygiene.

The Role

As our Nursery Chef, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the kitchen in our 68-place nursery.

You will:

  • Assist the chef with preparation of food for service and mealtimes and all aspects of the kitchen including ordering, deliveries, waste management and cleaning
  • General housekeeping duties to ensure the setting is clean and well-maintained at all times
Requirements
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Paediatric First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
  • Organised, reliable, and able to work independently
  • A genuine interest in children's health and wellbeing
