Our client is a leading firm of chartered accountants based in Kent with offices across the UK and a national and international reach. They have a fantastic reputation, excellent culture, and have seen significant growth over the last 5 years. They are now looking for a Private Client Tax Senior Manager to join their team in a highly rewarding position, offering some of the best private client work available in the Kent region.
As a Private Client Tax Senior Manager, you will manage a portfolio of private client tax relationships and deliver technical expertise to clients directly and to internal colleagues. You will be responsible for mentoring junior staff and overseeing their work and training.
You will take a client-facing, portfolio management role, overseeing advisory services across private client tax issues such as Capital Gains tax planning, remuneration planning, Trusts/IHT, statutory residence test/residence issues, immigration/emigration issues, agricultural/landed estates, etc. You will lead and influence your team, driving the development of private client tax services within the firm. You will also develop client relationships, maintain existing ones, and bring in new business to enhance the firm's private client offerings, playing a key role in the growth of the Kent office's private client services.
Requirements- ATT/CTA qualified or qualified by experience
- Previous experience operating at a Senior Manager level within Private Client Tax
- Proven experience in client management with the ability to maintain high-quality relationships
- Proven tax experience producing high-quality work on complex UK private client matters within budget
- Practice background experience, preferably within a top 100 or large independent firm, is advantageous
- Competitive salary in the region of £70,000-£80,000

Additional RequirementsThe Personal Tax Manager should have ACCA, ATT, or CTA qualifications, with significant practice experience, client-facing confidence, strong technical knowledge of personal tax, mentoring abilities, and excellent communication skills.
