Part-Time Private Client Secretary - Temporary Assignment (Ipswich)

Start Date: March 2026Duration: Approximately 3-4 monthsHours: Minimum 15 hours per week, up to 3 days per week

We are recruiting on behalf of our Ipswich-based client for an experienced Part-Time Private Client Secretary to join their busy team on a temporary basis.

About the Role

You will be providing high-quality administrative and secretarial support within a fast-paced Private Client department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys varied work, supporting fee earners with accuracy, professionalism, and discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing secretarial support to Private Client fee earners
  • Preparing legal documents and correspondence
  • Audio typing and document formatting
  • Managing diaries, appointments, and client communications
  • Handling confidential information with care
  • General administrative duties as required

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous legal secretarial experience, ideally within a Private Client department
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload
  • A proactive, professional, and detail-focused approach

Working Pattern:

  • Flexible part-time hours
  • Minimum 15 hours per week, up to 3 days per week
