Private Client Solicitor - Full-Time (Office-Based)

A well-established and highly regarded high street law firm based in the heart of New Mills is seeking a skilled and motivated Private Client Solicitor to join their friendly and supportive team.

The Role:You will be responsible for managing a full and varied caseload of private client matters, including but not limited to:

• Drafting wills, including more complex estate planning matters

• Administering estates, including taxable and non-taxable estates

• Probate applications and advising executors and beneficiaries

• Creation and administration of trusts

• Preparation and registration of Lasting Powers of Attorney

• Advising on inheritance tax and estate planning issues

The caseload is already established and includes a number of complex and high-value matters, so the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Running files from instruction through to completion with minimal supervision

• Providing clear, practical, and sensitive advice to clients

• Maintaining excellent client care and communication at all times

• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and internal procedures

• Supporting the wider team and contributing to the ongoing success of the department

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor (or equivalent) with solid experience in private client work

• Proven ability to handle a busy and varied caseload independently

• Strong technical knowledge across wills, probate, trusts, and estate planning

• Excellent organisational and time management skills

• Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate and professional approach

• A commitment to delivering high standards of client service
