Role Overview

An excellent opportunity for a Private Client Fee Earner to join a growing and well established law firm in South Yorkshire. You will handle a varied caseload of wills and probate administration while working closely with senior members of the department. There will also be opportunities to develop experience in related areas such as lasting powers of attorney and Court of Protection work. This role offers a flexible working arrangement, combining office and home working, together with the opportunity to play an active role in the continued growth and success of the private client department.

Responsibilities
  • Handle a varied caseload of wills and probate administration.
  • Work closely with senior members of the department.
  • Develop experience in lasting powers of attorney and Court of Protection work.
  • Participate in business development activities to promote the department and the wider firm.
  • Use case management systems and maintain strong IT skills.
Candidate Profile
  • Experienced Private Client Fee Earner with a solid background in probate and estate administration matters.
  • Confident managing own caseload independently.
  • Strong understanding of the probate process, compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in wills, lasting powers of attorney and Court of Protection matters (advantageous).
  • Commercially minded, proactive and comfortable undertaking business development activities.
  • Strong IT skills and experience using case management systems.
