Prison Nurse - Wolverhampton - Interesting Role - c£28,000

Dream Medical are looking for a Primary Care nurse to work within a large Category C training/resettlement prison which can currently house up to 1,605 prisoners and may increase in size by a further 500. You will join a friendly, vibrant team committed to delivering the highest possible standard of care.

As a Primary Care Nurse, you will be involved in everything from clinical triage to the evaluation and development of patient care and standards. You will carry out-and potentially develop-nurse led clinics, review patient histories, undertake relevant examinations and tests, organise necessary treatment and refer patients to other healthcare professionals when needed. In all activities you will maintain accurate records and provide helpful, empathetic support that makes every patient feel at ease.

We utili se a wellbeing model that places patient care and safety at the heart of everything we do by assessing prisoners across five domains: physical and mental wellbeing, substance misuse, relationships, and resettlement. Patients and clinicians complete a wellbeing wheel assessment to set goals and outcomes in partnership; any needs identified are met by our fully integrated service delivery team.
