Job Description

Job Summary: The Team Lead leads a technically sophisticated team responsible for delivering Clearwater's Prism product to clients. They handle performance management, identify learning opportunities, and serve as an escalation point for important inquiries. They apply domain knowledge to ensure successful client delivery of Prism solutions, playing a crucial player/coach role. This role sits at the intersection of client reporting, data engineering, and people management. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguous, fast evolving product environments, brings hands on technical depth in data pipelines and client reporting, and has a proven track record of leading cross functional, globally distributed teams.

Responsibilities
  • Leads, mentors, trains and retains a team of analysts and delivery specialists.
  • Owns end to end delivery of Prism implementations, ensuring quality, timeliness, and client satisfaction.
  • Partners with Sales to scope, support, and close new Prism opportunities.
  • Manages team performance through regular 1 on 1s, goal setting, and career development.
  • Establishes and monitors project and delivery metrics; implements process improvements to reduce client escalation frequency.
  • Identifies improvement opportunities and drives solutions across the Prism team.
  • Operates within a global framework.
  • Demonstrates effective management of both people and projects.
Required Skills
  • Deep understanding of data pipeline design, data ingestion, and data normalization.
  • Proficiency in SQL and query development for reporting and data analysis.
  • Experience with client reporting platforms and building production grade reports.
  • Strong client facing communication skills, including comfort managing escalations at senior levels.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional problem solving abilities.
Education & Experience

4+ years of relevant experience. For internal candidates, people management experience is not essential.
