Priorities for London

Mayor Sadiq Khan is driven by one main ambition - to make it possible for all Londoners to have the opportunity to get on in life, to fulfil their potential and to not just survive, but to thrive.

To achieve this vision, the Mayor is focusing his time and effort on the most important issues facing our city. This includes:

• fighting for London's economy - supporting business, protecting jobs, boosting skills provision and increasing the standard of living for all Londoners
• encouraging London's diverse communities to come together

Mayor's Priorities

The Mayor is taking actions to ensure every Londoner has access to a decent and secure home they can afford, support growth and make London the best city to visit, invest and study in, provide the police force with the necessary resources, make the transport network fair and affordable, and make the city a greener, cleaner and healthier place for all Londoners to live.

The Mayor also wants to make sure that every Londoner can access and enjoy London's extraordinary cultural life.
