Job Description Description

The role is crucial in driving the Bank's talent optimisation strategy, focusing on Talent and Career Mobility. It supports integrated talent management across Human Resources and Organisational Design (HROD), enhancing employee engagement and establishing mobility-focused career development opportunities for staff. The position also aims to strengthen talent pipelines for leadership and technical succession, working closely with the Director of Talent & Performance Management and the Talent and Performance Management team.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities :

  • Implement the Bank's Talent Management Strategy in collaboration with the Director of Talent & Performance Management and the team.
  • Oversee the Bank's Talent Mobility approach, ensuring effective implementation and proposing improvements based on best practices.
  • Design and manage the Bank's Rotation Programme, facilitating opportunities and matching for staff, and collaborating with Managing Directors to maximize value.
  • Work with HRBPs to understand workforce plans and skill requirements, proposing relevant talent mobility initiatives and participating in Talent Review meetings.
  • Initiate programs to promote talent mobility, including external secondments, with a focus on diversity, equality, and inclusion.
  • Provide career guidance and coaching to key employees, maintaining communication with employees, managers, and HRBPs.
  • Support HRBPs with guidance on Talent Mobility activities, including training and documentation.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships by providing support, training, and resources to leadership and staff.
  • Collaborate with the HR Data & Analytics team to develop a dashboard for monitoring talent mobility metrics.
  • Optimize the use of HCM system functionalities related to talent and mobility initiatives.
  • Develop communication campaigns on key topics and present reports to senior leadership, including the HRMT, ExCom, and the President.
  • Contribute to other Talent Management projects and embody the Bank's Workplace Behaviours and Leadership Competencies.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Qualifications :

  • Experience in developing and implementing organizational talent management and mobility initiatives.
  • Understanding of key talent management methodologies.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing skills, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making.
  • Proven ability to translate ideas into effective initiatives.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, especially for senior audiences.
  • Effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage conflicting priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Understanding of organizational and cultural differences, with experience tailoring talent initiatives accordingly.
  • Leadership coaching skills to enhance management capabilities.
