You'll be responsible for the systems and infrastructure that integrate Snowflake into our broader data ecosystem, ensuring our platform is maintainable and continues to technically evolve to meet our customers' needs.As well as working on our internal Snowflake platform, you'll collaborate with the third parties we partner with to ensure the technical success of those projects and ensure they are aligned to our requirements. Key Responsibilities Be a technical leader who can work across multiple teams to solve complex technical problems, particularly around Snowflake integration and platform adoption Have expert-level experience with Snowflake, including its architecture, capabilities, and how it integrates within a wider data platform ecosystem Have strong experience building web-based applications, supporting micro-services and deploying them in a cloud environment, with specific focus on data platform infrastructure Lead and support other teams' migration to Snowflake, providing technical guidance and platform solutions rather than direct data engineering Have technical experience of complex platform projects and be able to act as a technical authority on Snowflake implementations Have effective communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to scale engineering initiatives across teams adopting the Snowflake platform Be able to work with our technical leadership teams to inform the technical evolution of our Snowflake platform and its integration with our broader applications Have expert level understanding of modern software engineering, from test automation to architectural principles, applied to data platform development Understand what it takes to develop resilient, scalable and secure data platform solutions Recognise that people build software and working with others is key to success, especially when enabling other teams to adopt new platform capabilities Our tech stack We use a wide variety of tools and technologies across our products.
