A little more about your role

As a Principal Risk Consultant / Manager, you will:

• Deliver risk consulting assignments profitably with positive feedback
• Lead and manage small consulting assignments as needed
• Contribute to the development of the practice

Key responsibilities:

• Manage effective risk management services on projects and workstreams within larger projects, with minimal input from Associates/Directors
• Lead the development and presentation of client risk management deliverables; engage with stakeholders on corrective actions to mitigate threats and utilize opportunities in line with organizational processes
• Support project leaders in successful project delivery
• Coach junior team members
• Develop and expand WSP Risk Management service offerings
• Share knowledge and best practices
• Build professional networks to support business development

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

• Expertise in project, programme, and business risk management facilitation
• Experience with risk models using ARM, Primavera Risk Analyser, Safran Risk, Predict, Xactium
• Ability to explain risk assessment results to non-specialists
• Ability to suggest appropriate risk assessments and management actions
• Knowledge of risk management techniques and project control processes

Desirable:

• Qualification in risk management or equivalent experience
• Membership of the Institute of Risk Management or APM Risk Practitioner
• Previous line manager and consultancy experience
