Principal GNSS Software Engineer

A Leading Software Specialist - GNSS / IoT is sought by this innovative organisation. Based at their R+D Centre near Rotterdam, the Leading Software Specialist - GNSS / IoT will be responsible for future development of their leading-edge cellular PHY for emerging wireless comms technologies. The Leading Software Specialist - GNSS/IoT will be developing software at systems level in Matlab and C++, PHY Layer and MAC Layer systems architectures design for new products, and writing Matlab and C++ software aimed at the next generation of their leading SatComs, GNSS and IoT technologies. The Leading Software Specialist - GNSS / IoT will be working closely with the hardware and software development teams supporting robust satellite communication systems.

You will have 5+ years' post graduate development experience where you will have gained excellent C++ and Matlab skills. You will have significant knowledge of wireless communications systems development and any exposure to GNSS NB-IoT, LORA or BLE is beneficial. You will be confident working at the hardware / software interface developing systems level software. Coupled with this you will have a proven track record of developing PHY and MAC layer systems too.
