We're now looking for a Principal Engineer to join our engineering team in Egham. This is a key role in leading the technical and strategic development of our next-generation aerospace seating and systems - a perfect opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to take on more responsibility and make a real impact.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead internal development projects that push the boundaries of aircraft seating and systems

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver innovative engineering solutions

  • Drive technical strategy and help shape our long-term R&D roadmap

  • Approve detailed designs, certification packages, and CAD outputs using our PLM systems

  • Mentor and coordinate engineers working on cutting-edge programmes

  • Represent the engineering team in customer and supplier meetings

  • Support certification, qualification testing, and Airworthiness Authority submissions

  • Champion safety, compliance, and continuous improvement within the department
What You'll Bring:

  • A solid background in aerospace or a related engineering field

  • Experience managing complex technical projects from concept through to delivery

  • Familiarity with CAD systems and data management tools

  • A strong grasp of certification and qualification processes

  • Confident communicator and team coordinator, with a proactive mindset

  • A passion for innovation and high engineering standards
