Principal Engineer / Software Lead (IC Role)

London Hybrid (3 days onsite), Up to £140K + Bonus + Benefits

We're hiring into one of the most elite engineering teams in financial services - known internally as the Rocket Scientists. Think fintech meets deep tech: solving complex, high-stakes problems across trading, risk, and finance.

This is a hands-on IC role (not management), working alongside top-tier engineers and quants. You'll be building and evolving business-critical systems that power a company redefining financial security at scale.

What you bring:

• MSc/PhD in a STEM subject or standout academic record
• Strong Python skills and engineering best practices
• Proven track record in high-pressure environments (e.g. trading, gambling, gaming)
• Passion for clean, scalable code and solving complex technical challenges
